Overview: A full-day experience combining Luang Prabang’s natural icons and spiritual heritage.
What to Expect:
- Morning: Early pickup for the UNESCO morning alms-giving ceremony (optional), followed by a scenic 45-minute drive to Kuang Si Falls to trek up the multi-tiered turquoise pools and visit the Tat Kuang Si Bear Rescue Centre.
- Afternoon: Board a longtail boat to cruise up the Mekong River to the sacred Pak Ou Caves, filled with thousands of Buddha statues, returning to town via the local “whisky village” (Ban Xang Hai).
